Mahadev’s struggles began when he left home at the age of 21. Newly-married and in a new city, he had to figure out a way to earn enough to support living expenses and food for two. Multiple odd jobs and hectic schedules later, he became an office boy in Jhotwara, following which an avid interest in banking resulted in employment with Jana Small Finance Bank. With opportunities, income and the time to spend with his family, Mahadev is grateful to the Bank for a healthy work-life balance. With savings put aside by his wife, the couple has built their own house.
