Chandni’s struggle was not just financial, but also social. Being a girl, working in a profession that involved door-to-door collections was considered inacceptable. However, with the support of her family, she weathered all the challenges that stood in her way to fund her brother’s education. The people of her community were sceptical of her ability, as most believed it is not befitting a girl to work in an environment that required high customer contact and EMI collections. Despite their opinions, her JC team and managers stood by her. Today, she has grown to become a Field Service Executive, and her brother has successfully become an engineer, both of which were made possible with the support of Jana Small Finance Bank.
